About Joseph

Singer, composer, and musician (piano), Joseph Serralta, made his debut in 2018, composing and producing an iconic anthem for the critically acclaimed Live Spectacular global ad-campaign for the world-renowned Bahamian luxury resort known as Bahamar, a conglomerate of three luxury hotels (Grand Hyatt, Rosewood, and SLS) seated in Nassau, the Bahamian capital. At just eighteen years of age, his music was featured all around the globe, from Times Square to Carnegie Hall, and went on to win several awards and honorable mentions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (formerly the International Advertising Festival), held annually in Cannes, France. Subsequently, Joseph has gone on to pursue his passion for musical performance, working as a professional singer and musician throughout the city of Houston for non-profits and religious organizations (e.g., Attack Poverty). In recent years, he’s maintained various positions at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church (2019-2024), and sat as a Director of Worship Music to one of their three venues (2022-2023). With over 15 years of playing experience (piano), Joseph now works as a private instructor for voice and piano supporting the musical education of children and adults alike from the venue of his own private studio. He also works as one of the many esteemed instructors of the award-winning children’s service and education franchise (Global Franchise Awards 2023) School of Rock, teaching contemporary piano and vocal styles, and as an Expert-level instructor with the single largest corporate provider of private musical instruction in the nation, Music & Arts. He hopes to continue his musical education while pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy, seeking to unite his love for the arts with his deep passion for medicine. Joseph now studies at Lone Star College, working towards a degree in musical composition, piano performance, and conductorship.
