Teaching Experience: Over 4 decades of giving private lessons as well as in school and workshop settings.
Teaching Philosophy: I love all types of music. I have attended concerts by groups like The Beatles and Rolling Stones to Orchestras in Europe and across the US. I have recently attended some South Indian dance recitals with the highest level musicians from India accompanying.
I do create a program for students based on their needs and am very familiar with the school programs. I believe good posture, sight reading, historical knowledge and phrasing are pillar qualities of the learning experience.

Marty Taglieri has a Bachelors Degree with honors from the University of Maryland in Violin Performance. He has played professionally in Chamber, Orchestral and Solo settings for decades. He has always taught violin and viola privately as well as leading sectionals and substituting for strings in many area schools which he values highly. He feels that every student has a unique personality to express through their instrument and should enjoy the learning experience at all levels.
