Education: Bachelors in Violin Performance from University of Maryland

Performance Experience: Solo, Chamber and Orchestral.

Teaching Experience: Over 4 decades of giving private lessons as well as in school and workshop settings.

Teaching Philosophy: I love all types of music. I have attended concerts by groups like The Beatles and Rolling Stones to Orchestras in Europe and across the US. I have recently attended some South Indian dance recitals with the highest level musicians from India accompanying. I do create a program for students based on their needs and am very familiar with the school programs. I believe good posture, sight reading, historical knowledge and phrasing are pillar qualities of the learning experience.
