About Josh Fortenberry

 Josh has been playing guitar for 38 years. He has toured in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and 38 States.  He has performed in several venues around Washington including Showbox Sodo, Central Tavern, & El Corazón, and Washington State University(WSU).  He has also helped raise money for a "Don't Drink and Drive" Campaign due to a student who was put into a coma after being hit by a drunk driver. His teachers over the years include: Mike Starr & Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Howard Leese of Heart & Bad Company, Brian McGarvey a student of Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche, and Brian(B.J.) Jorgensen. Josh has had numerous students who have gone on to be a part of successful bands and studio musicians. He loves all music from Elvis, Ray Charles, and Michael Jackson to Alice In Chains, Metallica and Slipknot.
