About Josh Roehner

Joshua Roehner is a woodwind, string, and brass teacher who works with students of all ages and experience levels in a fun, supportive, and goal-focused environment. He teaches saxophone, clarinet, flute, violin, viola, cello, bass, oboe, and trombone, while also bringing broad experience as a band, orchestra, and choir director. Joshua tailors each lesson to the individual student, blending technique, music theory, reading skills, improvisation, and repertoire from a wide variety of musical genres. He believes every student can learn at their own pace and encourages steady progress while helping students prepare for recitals, auditions, PMEA ensembles, and personal musical goals. Joshua is a graduate of West Chester University and has extensive experience teaching music programs and private lessons for grades 6–12 and beyond.
