About Joshua Heath

Joshua Heath is a bass guitar teacher who works with beginner to advanced students in a relaxed, supportive environment focused on helping each student grow at their own pace. His lessons combine strong technique development with creativity and musical feel, covering styles from a wide range of genres while incorporating improvisation, slap bass, listening skills, and music theory concepts like the Number System. Joshua encourages students to learn through experience, allowing them to work through challenges while guiding them toward stronger technique and confidence. Whether preparing for school bands, recitals, or simply playing for enjoyment, students are supported in reaching their personal musical goals. Joshua has five years of teaching experience and has worked as both a musician and music producer alongside Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated artists.
