About Julie Altnether

Julie Altnether started at Music & Arts in 2017 and teaches guitar, bass, drums, and piano. She studied Guitar Performance at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. After graduating from MI, she later received a Bachelor’s and a Teaching Certificate in the field of Education from California State University Dominguez Hills. Julie loves connecting with students and enjoys helping them to learn and create! Julie has also been an active recording and performing musician since 2000 and currently plays in local acts Town Cars and The Dutch Act. In her free time, Julie loves cycling, reading, and cooking!
