About Julie Maslog

Julie Maslog is a piano teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating personalized lessons that balance strong technical foundations with creativity and enjoyment. She teaches music reading, music theory, ear training, improvisation, and a variety of styles including classical, jazz, and pop, using proven methods such as the Faber and Alfred series to build well-rounded musicianship. Julie adapts her teaching to each student’s age, learning style, and goals, helping young beginners develop naturally while guiding older students toward musical independence and self-expression. Whether learning to read music, perform confidently, improvise, or simply develop a lifelong love of music, students receive supportive, goal-focused instruction. Julie holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Education along with a Certificate in Piano.
