About Julie Williams

Julie Williams is from Poughkeepsie, NY, and now lives in Denton, TX. She is currently studying for her Masters in Flute Performance at the University of North Texas under Mary-Karen Clardy. Previously, she received her Bachelors in Music Education & Music Performance from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY, studying under Brian Dunbar. She has experience playing with the Northern Symphonic Winds, Orchestra of Northern New York, and New Life Symphony Orchestra, and has taught private flute lessons and been on woodwind staff for marching band. She has experience playing classical flute and piccolo, as well as jazz flute and marching flute. In addition to teaching lessons at Music & Arts Lewisville, she is also a private flute lesson teacher at Celina Independent School District.
