      Education: Justine DeMarco earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Northern Arizona University in 2015. In 2017, she earned her Master of Music in Violin Performance from the same institution.
      Performance Experience: In the past, Ms. DeMarco performed in the NAU Symphony and Chamber orchestras from 2011 to 2017. She was also a member of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra from 2012 until 2017.
      Teaching Experience: Justine DeMarco has taught violin lessons for six years. As a student at NAU, she taught both group and individual Suzuki method lessons through the NAU Community Music and Dance Academy. Since moving to the Valley in 2018, she has taught lessons at two locations of Music & Arts, as well as teaching through Traveling Music Lessons and Music Maker Workshops.
      Teaching Philosophy: Ms. DeMarco believes that anyone interested in music can learn it and do it well. No matter if you begin learning at the young age of four, or the experienced age of ninety, you just have to put in some work and have dedication. Music exists for everyone's enjoyment and enrichment.

      Get to know Justine De Marco

      Justine DeMarco began playing violin at nine years old, eventually attending Northern Arizona University to study Violin Performance. While at NAU, Justine belonged to the NAU Symphony and Chamber orchestras, the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber music ensembles. As a violinist in the NAU orchestras, she regularly served as concertmaster and ran sectional practices. During her graduate studies, she also held two teaching assistantships for the Musicology and Music Theory departments. As a music theory assistant, she taught freshman-level sight-singing and dictation as the primary instructor for Ear Training I. During both her bachelor's and master's programs, she taught group and individual lessons using the Suzuki method, and registered work in Books 1 through 3.
