Kaila Hunter is a music teacher, composer, vocalist, instrumentalist, and performing artist.  

Her calling to music began with singing hymns in church in childhood, and is a continuing life-long journey.

She learned music fundamentals through playing piano for several years, before discovering guitar at age 11.    

Kaila went on to study classical & jazz guitar for decades to follow, which laid the foundation for other stringed instruments

In adolescence, Banjo & Mandolin became hobbies, while she focused on teaching herself the Violin.  

Her joy for fiddling developed through years of teaching others the basics of how to play the instrument.  

As a multi-disciplined "stringstress", she shares wisdom on how to translate existing musical backgrounds for those 

aspiring to learn a new instrument, as well as how to spark a curiosity into a love of music for beginners.

Kaila offers patient encouragement, guidance on instrumental technique, and enthusiasm for music theory to students.   

Music is her passion, and teaching is her inspiration.
