About Kallie Otto

Hello my name is Kallie Otto and I have been a piano teacher for over 10 years in the Las Vegas Valley. Over the years I have learned and played many styles of music, classical being my favorite. At a young age I was fascinated with piano and singing. Realizing my natural draw to music my parents allowed me to take piano and singing lessons. I loved every bit of it and knew music was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. In middle school I met my choir teacher who helped me find my passion for  piano. She made the 52 minuets of class time fun and interesting. I soon took my piano lessons very seriously, working very hard to grow my knowledge in music. By my freshman year I was a piano major at Las Vegas Academy of Preforming and Visual Arts. This was also when I decided to become a beginner piano teacher to the neighborhood kids. I loved high school and I adored teaching. I learned a lot about the different composers and eras in musics history, Mozart and Chopin being the most interesting composers to me. As I progressed in piano so did my business. By 2010 I had graduated from Advance piano at Las Vegas Academy and had 7 piano students. To this day I still take piano lessons from many teachers in the Las Vegas area. Music is an amazing form of expression and I try to share the enthusiasm I have for piano with my students. I make sure each lesson is dedicated to my students needs and learning styles. It is my job to help my students grow their love for music in a fun and motivating environment. I try to make my lessons exciting so practicing isn’t a chore but a hobby. I am so excited to get to meet you at our lesson!
