Muradyan, a dedicated Piano Teacher, Pianist, and Organist, hails from the
culturally rich city of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Fluent in English,
Armenian, and Russian, Karine has crafted a multifaceted career spanning over
four decades, marked by her passion for music education, performance, and
artistic expression.
Education:
Karine's
musical journey commenced in the specialized English High School Khachik
Dashtents No 114 in Yerevan. She obtained a Music Diploma from the renowned
Spendiarian Music School and pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Teaching at the
Music College of Romanos Melikian. Her commitment to excellence led her to
achieve a Master of Arts in Teaching Piano, Performance, Accompanist, and
Soloist of Chamber Orchestra from the State Conservatory of Komitas.
Professional Certifications:
Karine's
dedication to safety and education is underscored by her certifications from
the American Safety and Health Institute in Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED. She
further enhanced her preparedness skills through Ayoco Education Services'
Emergency and Disaster Preparedness program. As a teacher, she is registered
and fingerprinted with the Criminal Justice Information Services. Karine holds
a Christian Education and Preaching Certificate from the Center for the Armenia
Apostolic Church and serves as a Christian Religion Teacher at Etchmiadzin
Monastery St. Gayane in Armenia.

in the global music community, Karine is a proud member of the Friday Morning
Music Club, the Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London,
England, and the American College of Musicians.
Professional Experience:
Karine's
40+ years of professional experience as a Music teacher, Director of Piano
Programs and Auditions, Performance Pianist, and Accompanist spans various
countries, including Armenia, Russia, and the United States. As a Jazz singer,
she contributed her talents to the Melaman Jazz Band, gracing stages in Armenia
and Russia, even appearing on national television. Furthermore, Karine
performed in Ellipse Gallery(Arlington, VA), Sumner Museum(Washington,
DC), Strathmore Hall(Rockville, MD) Tamilino(Moscow, Russia),
and Yerevan, Etchmiadzin Chamber of Orchestra(Yerevan, Armenia).
In
Armenia, Karine contributed significantly to public schools, serving as a Music
and Kindergarten teacher for two decades. She held key roles as the Director of
Piano Program at the Etchmiadzin School of Armenia, QSI (International Quality
School), and the Sayat-Nova Music School. In the United States, Karine has made
a significant impact as a piano teacher at institutions such as the North
Potomac School of Music, the International School of Music, and The Academy of
Fine Arts.
Karine
has served as the Director of Piano Programs and a Piano Teacher at The
Alexander School of Music and Music of Arts. Her dedication to education
extends to Montessori schools, where she facilitated group music, taught
handbell lessons, and produced annual performances with kindergarten students.
Church Experience:
In
the realm of church music, Karine served as the Organist at St. Sargis Church
in Yerevan, Armenia, and held key roles as the Music Director, Choir Conductor,
and Organist at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. Currently, she serves
as the Organist at St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church in Washington, DC.

Karine
takes pride in preparing her students for prestigious exams, including ABRSM,
Guild Auditions, and American College of Musicians assessments. Noteworthy
performances include venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Kennedy
