About Kasey Awad

Mr. Kasey Awad is a young and enthusiastic educator dedicated to spreading the beautiful passion of music to others. Kasey was born in rasied in Rock Hill, South Carolina and still lives and teachers there today. He teaches lessons for violin, viola, cello, and bass, but plays several other instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, and more! Kasey has played in several different ensembles, including the SC Youth Region Orchestra, the Winthrop University Symphony Orchestra, and the Queen City Community Orchestra. Aside from playing in ensembles, Kasey has extensive experience performing solo work for weddings, parties, and events. You may be able to find Kasey around the Charlotte area playing in different places like malls, assisted living centers, bars, restaurants, and schools. Kasey actively works with the Rock Hill School District's strings program and loves being a part of the local community. Kasey has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and has also learned converse reading, writing, and speaking skills in the Spanish language. Kasey specially tailors his lessons to the unique learning needs of each and every one of his students, and he loves working with students of all ages!
