Get to know Kathy Dickison
I have always enjoyed singing and playing
the piano. I started in piano lessons when I was 8 years old, and not long
after was singing in front of audiences. I had the opportunity to go to
Hannibal La Grange College and get my degree in Music/Voice. I have now been
teaching piano for 27 years, and I believe every person, from child to adult,
should have the opportunity to learn how to play.
My emphasis is in teaching the classics
and praise/worship music. I enjoy giving each of my students a balanced program
of learning music, theory and rhythm. This will give them an avenue to also
branch out and learn other instruments that would inspire them to also play and
teach music in turn.
