About Kathy Mcguire
Get to know Kathy Mcguire
I completed my Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance in 2004. My mom says I could sing before I could talk, and I have been playing guitar since age 12 and flute since high school. I’ve performed as a solo vocalist with regional orchestras, chamber music, and choral groups, and I’m currently an Atlanta-area congregational musician. I also play 12-string guitar and sing with a group that performs bluegrass, folk, and fiddle-tune music. I enjoy playing and teaching a wide variety of musical styles, including classical, blues and jazz, bluegrass and folk, musical theatre, and pop music.
