      Education: Keith attended Ithaca College as a music major and holds a degree in applied music from Plymouth State University. He also graduated from the Armed Services School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to his musical education, he holds degrees in Psychology and Addiction Counseling from Hesser College and the New Hampshire Technical Institute.
      Performance Experience: Keith has performed with the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble, Elmira Symphony Orchestra, Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra, Plymouth University Symphonic Band, and various pit orchestras throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and New York. He has attended Bela Fleck’s Blue Ridge Banjo Camp for the past four years taking numerous master classes from Bela Fleck, Tony Trischka, Kristin Scott-Benson, Adam Larabee, Ryan Cavanuagh, and Greg Liszt. He has studied guitar and banjo with Carlton Page since 2016.
      Teaching Experience: Keith started playing piano and clarinet at age 5, bassoon at 10, guitar, bass guitar and saxophone at 13, and has been an avid banjo player for the last 12 years.
      Teaching Philosophy: Making music can be beyond special. You can use it to meet people, work as a team with friends and strangers alike, or you can enjoy it all by yourself. Music is the only thing in the world you can do that will change the air in a room.

      Get to know Keith Warner

      Keith started playing piano and clarinet at age 5, bassoon at 10, guitar, bass guitar and saxophone at 13, and has been an avid banjo player for the last 12 years.  Keith has a sincere passion for music, extensive and eclectic experience, and is excited to pass along the joy and knowledge of how to make music. He aims to deliver a personalized and effective teaching experience tailored to each student’s needs, designed to give them the most rewarding and productive learning experience possible. More than anything, Keith is a huge music lover & fan, and feels very lucky to be able to instruct a new generation of musicians and hopes to inspire them to do great things!
