My teaching philosophy centers on developing not only technical proficiency, but also musical artistry, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. I believe that every student has the capacity to grow when given clear expectations, thoughtful instruction, and an environment that balances challenge with support. My role is to guide students toward mastery of their instrument while helping them discover their unique musical voice.

Kenny is a multiple woodwind player and teacher who carries about 20 years combined of performance and teaching experience. He brings to M&A middle & high school band teaching, private studio/adjunct experience and performs freelance throughout the state of North Carolina. Kenny has a Performance Artist Certificate and Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a Interdisciplinary Studies in Music Education from Winston-Salem State University.
