Education: Kevin has a bachelor's degree form the University of Florida.
Performance Experience: Kevin has experience as a solo classical guitarist and in rock bands.
Teaching Experience: Kevin has been teaching since 1994. He is experienced with all ages and levels.
Teaching Philosophy: I teach guitar and piano to all levels and ages. The majority of my students have been children ages 6 to 14, I especially enjoy working with those ages, and feel I have a knack for working with children. I believe in teaching sight reading and good technique from the start, and theory when a student is ready. My goal is not only for the students to enjoy their lessons, but for them to have the skills and knowledge to be able to pursue which ever style of music they prefer.
Get to know Kevin Bogle
One day when I was a small child I heard my older sister practicing piano.
I knew then that was what I wanted to do. I soon started lessons and have been playing since.
When I was 14, I got my first guitar. I have enjoyed sharing my love with music with people,
both as a performer, or just playing with friends.
It has been a great way to meet people both domestically,
and while living and travelling overseas. In 1992 I started classical guitar lessons
and fell in love with that style. I began teaching soon after that. In 2008 I began teaching at a local Music store.
In 2019 I joined Music&Arts.
