About Kim Murray

Kim Murray is a clarinet, flute, and piano teacher who creates positive, encouraging lessons that help students build confidence and strong musical foundations. She teaches all levels of clarinet and flute as well as beginning through late intermediate piano, incorporating technique, warm-ups, sight-reading, duets, solo repertoire, and structured practice habits into each lesson. Kim teaches classical, folk, and jazz styles while helping students set meaningful goals and develop the skills needed for both musical and personal growth. Whether preparing for performances, mastering new repertoire, or simply enjoying music, students are guided in a supportive and goal-focused environment. Kim holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and Northwestern University and brings over 28 years of teaching experience.
