About Liam

Liam has over a decade of musical experience, starting on alto saxophone at age 11. Since then, he has played on other members of the saxophone family, eventually picking up the baritone saxophone as his main instrument. Inspired by legendary saxophonists such as Ronnie Cuber, Leo Parker, and Pepper Adams, Liam expresses a keen interest in jazz music, and has played with a multitude of  jazz ensembles and small-groups. However, he is not limited to one genre or field, being educated and trained in classical music, music theory, and music technology. Outside of directly playing, he enjoys transcription and composition, with music found in videogames and movies often being the subject of these endeavors. Liam is open to students of all backgrounds and hopes that his experience will ignite a passion for saxophone in his students.
