About Lily Chongswatdi

Lily Chongswatdi has been a passionate musician since she picked up the cello at 12 years old. She grew up in Ona, West Virginia and spent her high school years furthering her music education and involvement in the local music community. She was a member of the West Virginia Youth Symphony and the Marshall University Symphony before she graduated high school in 2023. In her junior year, Lily was awarded the Andrew and Amy Vaughan Student Symphonic Fellowship with the West Virginia Symphony, where she furthered her knowledge of classical music and the industry surrounding it. Lily was accepted into the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in cello performance. Music has impacted her life in countless ways. She encourages everyone to get involved with music and support the growth of music education.
