Get to know Linda Moninghoff
Linda Moninghoff is a seasoned brass specialist who has been teaching and performing in New Jersey for over 35 years.
A graduate of the highly distinguished West Chester University School of Music, she continues to perform with the top ensembles of New Jersey. Her graduate studies with renowned French hornist Joseph D. DeAngelis from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts laid the foundation for her highly prolific career as a player and music educator.
Ms. Moninghoff’s musical pedagogy yields great results, as she has successfully prepared many students for New Jersey high school honors bands and music school auditions.
Ms. Moninghoff’s passion is steeped in her love of sharing music with everyone. She is inspired by creating musical experiences with her students and colleagues, bringing a wide range of genres to audiences throughout the tri-state area.
Currently in her 12th year as music director of the Maria L. Varisco-Rogers Charter School, Ms. Moninghoff is famous for conducting outstanding programs. In addition, she often appears on stage as guest conductor with the Atlantic Pops Wind Ensemble.
