Lisa Carter is a piano teacher who works with beginner to early advanced students, creating structured, engaging lessons that balance technical development with creativity and musical expression. Her instruction emphasizes technique, music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills while encouraging students to explore a variety of musical styles. Lisa believes music education fosters confidence, creativity, and lifelong appreciation for the arts, helping students grow into well-rounded musicians. Whether preparing for recitals or simply developing a love of music, students receive personalized guidance and meaningful goals to support their progress. Lisa holds degrees from Shenandoah University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, and brings over 24 years of teaching experience along with an extensive performance career in the United States and Europe.
