      Education: I graduated John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State with a B.M. and Certificate in Cello.
      Performance Experience: I am pleased to share that I have the opportunity to perform with The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey, based in Morristown and Madison. Additionally, I have experience performing in the pit orchestra for The Spelling Bee musical at Cedar Grove High School, and I have also provided solo performances at private events, including a birthday party in Raritan, New Jersey.
      Teaching Experience: During my 11th and 12th grades, I served as section leader for my high school orchestra in Cresskill, New Jersey. At Montclair State University, I had the opportunity to instruct a group class. Additionally, I have experience teaching individual students and have been teaching string instruments for over seven years.
      Teaching Philosophy: To motivate students to perform at their highest potential and to engage in consistent practice to enhance their skills and repertoire.

      Get to know Lisa Tiedemann

      From an early age, I developed a strong appreciation for classical music and particularly enjoyed the sound of string instruments. I have always been passionate about performing, teaching, and promoting the arts. I have had the opportunity to study under renowned instructors and performers, including Sarah Carter of the American Symphony Orchestra and Nicholas Tzavaras. Over the years, I have performed in a variety of venues, gaining valuable experience in different performance settings.
