Get to know Logan Childers
Hi! My name is Logan Childers. I'm a jazz educated guitarist and bassist and have been performing professionally for the past several years. I am also proficient in saxophone and piano.
When I began guitar, I was self taught. I learned by reading chord books and listening to recordings. I still remember the challenges of understanding the language of music and the discomfort of pressing down the strings for the first time. Though by learning the music I loved to listen to (and with the help of some fantastic music teachers), I was able to connect the fingerboard and achieve fluency in my playing.
I teach all ages and aim to find my students' individual voices while providing a solid foundation of theory, technique, and repertoire. I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and saxophone.
