About Lori Creamer

I am a native of Rockford, Illinois who recently moved from Marion, Illinois to Columbia in 2020.  My husband and I have three daughters; our daughters have inherited a love for music and have been active in church music.  My background in teaching has been centered around music, but I have also been a substitute teacher for Northern Illinois public schools.  I love piano, singing and playing hammered dulcimer in my spare time.  I have been involved in theater and church music, as well as have had the privilege of playing and singing for local funerals.  I have enjoyed teaching piano to students in Southern Illinois, and developed a program for students with special needs called "Music My Way."  Occupational Octaves (Lee Stockner) ABA piano curriculum is the cornerstone of "Music My Way."
