Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy focuses on keeping the students hands moving so that no matter the students musical preferences, the student can learn something new and challenging that will push their musical abilities to the next level. I love and know many styles of music and have taught drums for a long time and can teach the student appropriately depending on their background and experience
Get to know Luke
Hello, My name is Luke Rose and I have been playing drums for over twenty years! I have experience ranging from drum set, concert/marching percussion, mallets, and hand drums. I have a bachelors degree in Music Performance from Colorado State University with a focus in percussion. In the past I have been a member of the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps and I have taught percussion at Fossil Ridge High School here in Fort Collins. Currently I live in Severance with my wife and we are expecting a baby daughter in September and I currently play drums in a country band called CR21 Band.
