About Lydia Cagle

Lydia Huerta is a musician originally from Kyle, Texas, now based in New Braunfels. She teaches violin, guitar, piano, and voice, and has been singing for as long as she can remember. She began studying classical violin at a young age and later taught herself guitar and piano, developing both strong fundamentals and a love for musical expression.

Lydia spent seven years in choir, competing in TMEA events and performing at the collegiate level. She also pursued studies in music at Austin Community College and Dallas Baptist University where she further developed her musicianship and discovered her passion for songwriting and teaching.

In addition to her formal training, Lydia has served on her church’s worship team and led music programs for young children and adults with special needs. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and grow in their love for music!
