About Malik Henry

Greetings! My name is Malik Henry and I am a musician and producer from Philadelphia. With almost two decades of experience, I have worked with various artists, musicians, and producers across various genres. My journey through the industry expands past drums including music production, stage production, video production, and music business. 

There is much more to music than just playing the instrument. I share with students lessons that expand drums like the technology of music,  how to be sensitive to the music and creating with other instrumentalists, and what it takes to be "professional." Music has the ability to enhance cognitive learning, so I impart on students skills that can transfer to various industries. 

There's no "one size fits all" approach to learning an instrument. I customize each lesson based on the student's skill level and learning style in order for them to thrive. Excellence is my expectation, as I know it lies within.
