About Marc Rosen

Education: He attended the Cleveland Institute of Music, completed coursework for a Master of Music from Ohio University, and studied with clarinetists from the Cleveland Orchestra and other major orchestras.

Performance Experience: Marc's performance experience on clarinet and bass clarinet includes the Canton Symphony, Akron Symphony, Youngstown Symphony, and Cleveland Orchestra.

Teaching Experience: Marc Rosen has over 40 years experience teaching clarinet and saxophone to students from age ten to seventy-five, from beginner to advanced.

Teaching Philosophy: Marc's goals and objectives for students are tailored to each individual's goals and abilities: Student proceeds through a proven series of technical levels. Student gains confidence for systematic practice and improvement. Student acquires a sense of satisfaction from increasing mastery of the instrument. Student improvement enables better participation and more satisfaction with ensembles.
