Teaching Philosophy: Mark's been a mentor for drummers for the past 30 years. Drum lessons aren’t just about drums and music to him. It’s about achieving weekly goals, over coming obstacles, organizational skills and setting up productive routines. In short Mark teaches students life long skills that make them accountable for reaching their goals and dreams. Students do better in school because of drum lessons. They learn how to focus and that effort leads to reward. Drum lessons are life lessons.

Mark's helped many students begin or continue on their musical journeys. The biggest lesson he's learned during that time was that all drum students benefit most from a customized approach. This is why all his lessons are private one-on-one sessions. These classes are a tailored music education program that best meets the needs, goals, and musical interests of the individual student. Mark's experienced in crafting lesson programs that will help each student succeed and have fun while doing so.
He's a professional Broadway drummer who teaches all styles of music. The lessons are customized for students of all levels; beginners to advanced.
