About Micah Conarty

With a lifelong dedication to the craft, I’ve been immersed in music since the age of 8. My journey has taken me from early lessons to a professional career as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. I bring a deep understanding of music theory and literacy to the studio, ensuring my students don't just learn songs, but understand the mechanics of what they’re playing.

​Whether we are diving into technical guitar work, locking in the pocket on bass, or getting a foundation started on the drums, my goal is to help students find their unique voice. I believe in balancing a "classy" professional discipline with the raw energy that makes rock music vital. 

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually composing or exploring the intersection of visceral storytelling and performance. I’m excited to help the next generation of musicians at Music & Arts sharpen their skills and take the stage!
