About Micah Ross

"I am a piano student at Texas Wesleyan University pursuing my degree in music education. Under the guidance of skilled piano teachers, I have competed in the Music Teachers National Association Piano Competition for young artists, and numerous jazz and classical piano competitions at Texas Wesleyan University and University of Texas at Arlington. I have performed in piano ensembles for the Fort Worth Music Teachers Association and Arlington Music Teachers Association, as well as in solo competitions for both organizations. Through my 15 years of piano performance and 9 years of trumpet experience I have won many prizes and encountered incredible mentors. I am a music educator because of my piano instructors, high school teachers, and now college professors. By working alongside them, they have heavily shaped who I am as a person. My goal is to be just as dedicated to my students as my instructors have been to me".
