Get to know Michael Moscoso
I have taught high school and middle school band for thirty two years in Texas. I am currently retired and am teaching privately. I also teach master classes, clinic bands and adjudicate solo and ensemble contests.
My main instrument is the trombone. I am also currently the Music Director of the Maxwell Hall Jazz Band which is an adult jazz ensemble that meets once a week and performs locally here in the North Texas area.
Before teaching in the secondary schools, I studied trombone performance and jazz studies at the graduate level with Dr, Royce Lumpkin (University of North Texas) and earned a BME from Florida State University.
I am married to Jennifer and have nine wonderful children and ten grandkids.
