About Michael Sapone

Mike Sapone is a guitar, bass, and drum teacher who brings decades of performance and teaching experience into fun, practical lessons tailored to each student’s goals. He teaches beginner to advanced guitar and bass as well as beginner drums, blending chord and scale theory, song-based learning, improvisation, and sight reading into an engaging approach that prepares students for real-world playing situations. Mike teaches styles ranging from classic and modern rock to jazz, blues, reggae, country, southern rock, and slide guitar, while helping students build confidence through performance-focused learning. Mike holds a master’s degree in Recording and Audio Engineering, has taught since 1991, and has performed more than 5,000 live gigs throughout his career.
