Get to know Michael S
Michael Spatafore teaches beginner to advanced electric and fingerstyle guitar, creating structured, encouraging lessons that balance strong fundamentals with music students enjoy. His instruction explores rock, blues, jazz, and fingerstyle music while developing improvisation, music reading, ear training, theory, and fretboard knowledge. Michael connects new techniques to students’ favorite songs, helping them understand how each skill supports their musical goals. He encourages students to build confidence through school jazz bands, private ensembles, and store recitals. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry and Technology, began teaching guitar in high school, and performs regularly at local venues.
