Modern, Traditional, and Hybrid
For musical styles including pop, R&B, funk, blues, folk, rock, metal, and country we will find you a contemporary approach to focus on skill, musicianship, and intuitive methods of playing music. You will learn to develop a natural ear for music and rhythm with the potential to perform, record, and compose unique and modern music.
For students that require a rigid environment and to read and play the music of the great composers, we will use traditional methods to prepare students for success. Technique, sight reading, music theory, and repertoire will be the tools we employ to create excellent musicians that are prepared for academic music programs and ensemble participation.
Using a combination of methods allows us to create well-rounded and versatile musicians.
