About Michele Tretola

Hi! My name is Michele Tretola and I am currently a student at Hofstra University pursuing a degree in Music Education and Disability studies. I have been playing Violin for 10+ years and Viola for 8 years. At Hofstra, I am a member of the Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and perform in small ensembles including string and piano trios, quartets, and quintets. I'm also involved in ASTA (American String Teachers Association), NAfME (National Association for Music Education), as well as dance clubs on campus! I have always loved teaching and working with students since High School when I would teach dance classes, private violin/viola lessons, and trapeze at a summer camp. My goal is to provide a safe environment for students to learn and thrive with strings!
