About Mick Sagar

My name is Mick Sagar, and I've been playing guitar since 2007. I first started my musical journey in the school band as a percussionist in the 6th and 7th grades, and by freshman year of high school I was helping teach my fellow classmates in a beginner's guitar course. After high school, I spent 5 weeks in Boston's Berklee College of Music for a summer program where I was introduced to tons of new musicians and techniques. I also played in an ensemble while I was there.

I play a ton of rock and blues, but my passion lies in all things heavy metal. All the way from Metallica and Pantera, to Lamb of God and Cannibal Corpse. I like to take a more casual approach to learning, and make sure that you're able to have fun with the guitar while you learn.

I currently play guitar in two local bands, catch me playing at one of our shows!
