      Performance Experience: Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra for show with Chris Botti; LSU Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Tiger Band, and Bengal Brass basketball band; local singer/songwriter on ukulele and piano.
      Teaching Experience: 8 years teaching music to various ages and in multiple environments including elementary music, middle school, and high school band.
      Teaching Philosophy: Education stimulates creative independent critical thinking. Both educators and students cultivate balance, trust, and continuous learning to move forward.

      Get to know Mimi Webb

      Mimi is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. She completed bachelors' degrees in Music Education and Music Performance on horn at Louisiana State University. After the undergraduate years, she taught band in Gonzales, LA for two years then returned to LSU for a master's degree in Music Education. The LSU Tiger marching band played an integral role during her time in Louisiana, first as a member and then as a graduate teaching assistant. She now works for Cornell athletics bands. You can find her teaching lessons on piano, brass, beginner woodwinds, percussion, and ukulele. A goal of Mimi's is to share the power of music with others.
