About Natalie Thompson

Mrs. Thompson has been studying music for over 20 years and has over 10 years of experience. She has been doing clinician work for viola at local middle schools and high schools while also providing private lessons for viola and violin. She is classically trained and has studied at Kennesaw State University to obtain a Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance. She has been with Music and Arts since January of 2023 and has had students of all ages. While with this company she has had some students audition and take part of The Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, also participated in local Honors Programs as well as GMEA’s Allstate Orchestra. Her goals for her students throughout her teaching career are to create an understanding of music theory, gain skills in reading music, as well as learning and applying basic techniques to playing the viola or violin.
