About Nate Chivers

Dr. Nate Chivers is a Guitarist & Composer based in Kisssimmee, FL. He holds a BMus in Composition from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying guitar under Amanda Monaco & Jon Damian. He also holds an MMus from the Royal Northern College of Music (UK) and a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University/RNCM (UK) both in Composition. His compositions have been performed around the world including USA, UK, Germany, France, and China.

As a guitarist he is versatile, equally comfortable in Rock/Pop and Jazz styles. He also grew up playing in Punk and Metal bands. This can be seen in the wide varieties of gigs he plays in including musicals, cover bands, chamber ensembles, as well as playing solo. He has performed at the Dr. Phillips Center, Timucua Arts Foundation, and Osceola Arts amongst many others in the area.

He is also a freelance bass guitarist playing various gigs around the Orlando area.
