About Nate Hundley

Nate Hundley is a brass teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, helping them build strong fundamentals through a healthy, expressive approach to playing. His lessons emphasize tone production, musicality, ear training, and weekly playing and listening assignments while incorporating classical and commercial styles, music theory, and audition preparation. Nate believes every student learns differently and tailors instruction to each individual’s goals, whether they are returning to music, preparing for school band, community ensembles, or competitive auditions. He focuses on helping students develop confidence and a lasting connection with their instrument from the very first lesson. Nate holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he performed with the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Ensembles, and was a finalist in the 2022 Next Generation Trumpet Competition.
