I'm passionate about giving my students strong fundamentals. I believe that working from that, I can be more flexible with my students' goals. From there, we can work on fun things more effectively and we can get a lot more enjoyment out of playing. Music is a fun thing to share with others, but it's a lot more fun when technique isn't holding you back!
Get to know Nate Roth
Hello, I'm Nate! I am a teacher for brass musicians here at Music & Arts. I have been teaching private lessons for three years. I'm also an active music education major at the University of Arizona. For the last 3 years I have also been an assistant teacher for the Cienega High School marching band as well as working with Tucson Unified School District. In my studio, the main focus is that my students are always having fun while achieving the goals they want to accomplish. Besides just becoming more proficient at playing their instrument, my students will be taught relevant music theory, listening skills, and self-analysis abilities to make them more complete musicians! I look forward to meeting you!
