      Get to know Nerissa Wolfson

      Nerissa Wolfson is a voice, guitar, piano, and ukulele teacher who creates engaging lessons that balance strong technique with creativity and personal expression. She teaches beginner to advanced voice as well as beginner to intermediate guitar, piano, and ukulele, incorporating jazz, classical, pop, songwriting, improvisation, music theory, and music reading into her instruction. Nerissa believes students learn best when they enjoy what they are working on, so she personalizes lessons by incorporating music that reflects each student’s interests while building essential skills and confidence. Whether preparing for recitals, auditions, school programs, or simply making music for enjoyment, students receive supportive guidance tailored to their goals. Nerissa studied Jazz Voice at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and brings over 10 years of teaching experience along with extensive performance experience in the United States and internationally.
