Roels believes that music lessons are not supposed to be stressful, and that music is meant to be enjoyed whether you are writing, performing, or listening.
Teaching Philosophy: Music lessons are never meant to be stressful. Music is supposed to be fun, and it is my goal in all of my lessons to make music interesting and fun to the student. With that, I do also believe that technique and having a strong knowledge of the basic fundamentals of your instrument are imperative to having the freedom to play what you want, and so technique and fundamentals are one of the most important parts of my lessons.
