About Omar Eldieahy

I absolutely love music! Growing up, I listened to my parents records intently, falling in love with many different genres and styles... swing, folk, pop vocal, classical, musical theater, world, sing along and even college 'fight' songs, just to mention some of their diverse collection. The first record I ever bought of my own was an Elvis Presley live album I saw advertised on TV.

I began playing music at a young age starting with the drums and recorder. My main instrument became the guitar when I met my soon to be best friend, Steve, when my family left PG County (where I was born) and moved to Calvert County. Steve introduced me to the band Kiss and from there I was all in! And, to this day I'm still there - %100.

I've played many instruments over the years, even studying piano and music theory in college. I focus primarily on teaching guitar of all genres but I've also taught ukulele and bass. 

I hope to inspire you to love music and your instrument even more if we have the opportunity to learn together.
