About Patricia Mathews

Patricia has been teaching music most of her life. She received her BM from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, then known as Women's College. Her concentration there was in piano and choral music.  She has directed many choral organizations, including church, school and musical theatre.  She was in house accompanist for the opera department at the University of Nevada, Reno under Dr. Katharine DeBoer before returning to the east coast.  She has taught piano to youngsters as well as seniors. Patricia also holds an MFA in Theatre from the Catholic University of America.
