Get to know Patrick Gadams
Patrick Gadams is a professional trombonist in the Richmond area. He graduated from Virginia
Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Music in the spring of 2023. During his time at
VCU, Patrick performed with the university’s Symphony, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz
Orchestra, and other small chamber groups. Professionally he plays with the Richmond bands
Die Elbe Musikanten and Los Malcriados. He has spent time as a low brass clinician for
Colonial Heights and Hanover High School, as well as teaching lessons in Richmond Public
Schools with the Music Orchard. It is Patrick’s belief that lessons learned through music
education can apply to many aspects of life, and that anybody can learn music through practice,
love, and dedication.
