      Get to know Peter Dreux

      Peter Dreux is a violinist and educator from Northern Virginia. He studied at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music with Jorja Fleezanis and Mimi Zweig, receiving quartet coachings from Grigory Kalinovsky and the Pacifica Quartet. A recipient of the Nu Kappa Epsilon Scholarship from the Department of Music at William & Mary, he continued studies with Susan Via. He has also studied with Ricardo Cyncynates, the Assistant Concertmaster of National Symphony Orchestra, and Linda Schroeder, former first violinist with NSO. Peter has attended Meadowmount School of Music, Interlochen Arts Academy, and the Indiana University Summer Strings Academy. 


      In his free time, Peter enjoys running, chess, and walking his three dogs.
